If you are using public transportation (MTA bus/subway) for your daily commute then you are guaranteed to run into more than a handful of issues throughout the year. Buses missing their posted departure time (even at the first stop), over flowing trash on platforms, trains getting stuck in tunnel, signal malfunction and the list keeps going.
Ask any visitor from Europe or Asia and many will tell you how much better their transportation system is. They are cleaner, more efficient and get their customers to their destinations faster. No fancy message board, countdown clocks or new subway car model can fix the problem NYC commuters face each day.
How do you feel about your commute? What kind of frustrating problems have you encountered? Do you think it is getting better or worse compared to previous years? How can the system be improved?
