MTA To Resume Toll Collections For Both Bridges

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) plan to collect tolls in both direction starting at 12:01AM Saturday, December 1 for both the Cross Bay Veterans and Marine Parkway-Gil Hodges bridges. The $3.25 cash toll and $1.80 E-ZPass toll were suspended to aid post-Sandy recovery efforts.

Improve service! More public transportation!

Sound off! Fight back! Spread the news!

Update: MTA spokesman said the agency is unable to suspend toll charges due to budgetary concerns and that MTA is required to get a flow of revenue.
