Sea Shepherd Beach Clean Up Rockaway Beach Queens

We will meet on the boardwalk off Beach 116 (look for Sea Shepherd Jolly Roger flag).

We will clean the beach from 2 PM to 4:30 PM, then sort the trash on the boardwalk to separate out the recyclables and show people what we found.

If you cannot locate us, please call 516-515-1084. Don’t forget water and sunscreen. We will provide bags and work gloves. Please wear a Sea Shepherd shirt if you have one. We look forward to seeing you there.

With millions of pounds of garbage dumped into the oceans every year, come out to the Rockaways and make a difference.

If you would like more information, please email

Note: if you prefer a scenic bus ride or plan to come from Northern Queens, you can take the Q53 bus directly to the Rockaways. Have a look at the Q53 bus route schedule.
